Program Entrance Requirements

Provide the following to the Assessment Office:

1. Qualifying Praxis/SAT/ACT scores or 3.0 GPA.
   Praxis CORE Reading - 156, Praxis CORE Writing - 162, Praxis CORE Math - 150;
   SAT taken after January 1, 2019: Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math score of 1180;
    ACT - 24;
   or 3.0 GPA (complete this form if applicable)
2. Twenty documented hours of working with diverse populations.
3. Transcripts from all transfer institutions.
4. Consent and Release Form
5. Fingerprinting as a background check is required. Please make arrangements to visit campus police. You MUST take the required form which includes our agency authorization code. Fingerprinting must be completed prior to any field experiences. 

The following will be checked by the Assessment Office for approval:

1. Completion of at least 45 credit hours.
2. Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (including all grades from transfer institutions).
3. Grade of C or better (or P) in all required Professional Education Sequence courses, including transfer equivalents, designated by program.
4. Grade of C or above in ENGL 101/111 or equivalent and Math Core Skills course.
5. Grade of C or above in MATH 206 or 207 or transfer equivalent (P-9 majors only).
