Dear Friends,
Good books can spark a child's imagination and inspire a lifetime of learning. Each year, the Children's Literature Centre sponsors many activities that promote reading and appreciation of children's literature. In order to continue this outreach to teachers, librarians, media specialists, and young readers, the Centre needs your financial support.
The Centre depends on generous contributions from friends and business partnerships to sponsor featured programs. These include the annual Spring Festival of Children's Literature, Fall and Spring Author Series and the Summer Author Institute, as well as community activities such as Storybook Holiday, Pirates Ahoy, Harry Potter Book night, and the CLC Book Award Banquet. The impact of these events on the next generation is priceless, but the Centre needs your help to address the rising costs of funding these important activities.
By making a tax-deductible contribution to the Children's Literature Centre Endowment, you can ensure that these programs and events continue well into the future. The love of reading starts early; your support of the Children's Literature Centre makes a difference in the life of a child!
